Andre Perez is the Founder and Principal of District Partners at Compass, a commercial real estate advisory group serving investors, developers, business owners, and a broad agent network throughout the Washington Metropolitan region. With more than 25 years of experience, he specializes in investment sales, office and retail leasing, mixed-use assets, and strategic portfolio positioning. His approach is analytical, data-driven, and performance focused, guiding clients through acquisitions, dispositions, and complex lease negotiations with an emphasis on long-term value and risk management.

In addition to direct client representation, Andre serves as a commercial real estate resource to more than 1,200 residential agents across the Washington Metropolitan Area, supporting their clients’ commercial acquisitions, leasing needs, and investment strategies. His experience extends beyond traditional commercial sales and leasing to include structured transactions and auction-style sales, allowing for flexible execution strategies aligned with asset type, timing, and market conditions.

Andre began his career with RE/MAX, where he earned Top Producer status across residential and commercial transactions. He later transitioned into the financial sector, holding leadership roles at Saab Financial and serving as Vice President of Emerging Markets at Pinnacle Financial, where he directed over $144 million in annual sales. This capital markets background informs his disciplined underwriting, return analysis, and deal structuring capabilities.

In 2009, Andre founded District One Properties, which later evolved into District Partners at Compass to align with a technology-driven, nationally scaled brokerage platform. Today, his practice includes office, retail, medical, mixed-use, and investment properties, with advisory services spanning market analysis, asset positioning, lease strategy, and development consulting.
